TRANSNET's Min starts internship at Adtran Inc.

Min Jarmolovicius, one of TRANSNET's PhD students, starts an internship at Adtran Inc. in Germany.

Within the TRANSNET team, Min explores novel neural networks for transmission optimisation suited for real-time transmission and its digital implementation. For 6 months, he will be researching free space optical communication with Adtran, a global provider of networking and communications equipment.

Min is looking forward to having hands on experience in the lab, and gaining insight into industry focused research into optical communications. Min will maintain his connection with TRANSNET by continuing his work on modeling ultra-wideband and multi-wavelength technology alongside his new position. However, he has told us he will miss valuable conversations with the team over lunch and coffee while he is in Germany!

We wish Min the best of luck on this adventure and look forward to him being back in London in the summer!
