TRANSNET papers presented at SiPS from today

The 2020 IEEE International Workshop on Signal Processing Systems (SiPS) opens today, and like so many other conferences this year it’s going virtual.

The theme for the IEEE SiPS 2020 meeting is ‘Towards Intelligent and Energy-Efficient Signal Processing Systems’ and TRANSNET members will be presenting two papers:

  • Time-Domain Learned Digital Back-Propagation (E. Sillekens, et al)
  • Experimental Investigation of Deep Learning for Digital Signal Processing in Short Reach Optical Fiber Communications (B. Karanov, et al

These papers will be presented as part of Special Session 1: DSP in Communication Systems, co-organised by our very own Boris Karanov and Filipe Ferreira. Presentations take the format of a pre-recorded video available from today until November 16.

We are looking forward to attending and presenting (remotely, of course) at SiPS 2020. If you’re not an author, you can register to attend for free – see you there!
