TRANSNET continues to deliver world class conference papers during Covid-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic academics, researchers and students working on TRANSNET have continued to produce world-class conference research papers.

In March 2020 just one week before the official lockdown was enforced by the UK government, members of TRANSNET attended the Optical Fibre Communication (OFC) conference in San Diego, California.
Conference attendance was in person and part virtual due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. At OFC the team presented 14 invited talks including 'Design Principles for Fibre-Wireless Integration'.

Due to the global pandemic, conference organisers have been forced to reassess how they could proceed with their events. The TRANSNET team has continued, in spite of the difficult circumstances and will be presenting at the IEEE Photonics Society Summer Topicals in July, now taking place as a virtual conference. Two research papers submitted by TRANSNET have been accepted for the event.

Below is a list of conference papers produced since March 2020.
